Making Fringe

Making fringe is a very quick and easy process.

First cut the pieces of yarn that you want to be the fringe. For this scarf, I cut the yarn to be 8 inches long which gives mean 4 inch fringe approx. Cut them a little long so you can trim afterwards. Better to be too long and need to trim, than to short.

I cut three pieces per side, so 6 pieces in total of each colour.

Next, push your hook through the scarf where you want the fringe to go.

Hook the yarn piece in the middle and pull through.

Now hook the two look ends and pull through the loop. Pull tight.

Repeat until all pieces are used. Trim to desired length. You have finished a beautiful fringe.
