Scrappy the Doll


Materials

Worsted weight yarn

Scrap yarn in contrasting colour

3.75 double pointed needles

Cast on 30

Put on 2 (15 st on each( needles and knit in round. This will create a seamless doll, but you could knit flat if so desired.

Knit 25 rounds.

Shape shoulders

Ssk, k 11, k2tog, ssk, k 11, k2tog

Knit 1 round

Ssk, k9, k2tog, ssk, k9, k2tog

Knit 1 round

Ssk, k7, k2 tog, ssk, k7, k2tog

Knit 1 round

Ssk, k5, k2tog, ssk, k5, k2tog

Knit 1 round

Head

Kfb, k5, kfb, kfb, k5, kfb

Knit 2 round

Kfb, k7, kfb, kfb, k7, kfb

Knit 2 round

Kfb, k9, kfb, kfb, k9, kfb

Knit 4 rounds

Ssk, k9, k2tog, ssk, k9, k2tog

Knit 1 round

Ssk, k7, k2tog, ssk, k7, k2tog

Knit 1 round

Ssk, k5, k2tog, ssk, k5, k2tog

Knit 1 round

Ssk, k3, k2tog, ssk, k3, k2tog

Knit 1 round

Three needle bind off

Finishing

Stuff to desired firmness. Sew bottom closed using whip stitch.

Make 4 I-cords measuring 3 inches long and attach to body for arms and legs.

Using contrasting colour for hair.

Weave belt through middle of body and pull tight to create the waist.
